Why The Master's Plan

In 2005 Barna polling demonstrated 80% of young adults lose their faith while attending college, and only 1% of young people (under 30) have a biblical worldview. Students were ill equipped to understand true world history and differentiate logically between opposing worldviews and facts. In 2006 we set out to make sure our students would not become a college statistic. We created a course that would equip students to know where they came from and where they are going by knowing their creator, redeemer and the way, truth and life through Jesus Christ. Five years after high school we found Master's Plan students had reversed the Barna statistic: 80% of our students maintained their faith in God through college. In fact, Master’s Plan students were so engaged with the course that some came back after high school graduation to attend the course again. Other students ended the course with tears in their eyes, not wanting it to end.

Course Description

The Master's Plan is an in-depth worldview Bible study that of God's entire timeline. The design is to counter the enemy's strategy for this generation which is to change the set times (Daniel 7:25,11:27b).

In Part 1, we begin the course by looking at creation: how things differ from original creation, how corruption changed everything, how the Pre-flood world was different and similar to today, and how the flood reshaped the earth. We then progress through the 14 C’s of history found in the Bible, looking at how God has interacted with humanity through the progression of time. We also spend time studying prophecies in the Bible that have already been fulfilled, building confidence that God’s word is absolute truth.

In Part 2 we explore the events foretold in the Bible that have not been fulfilled yet. There are over 2500 biblical prophecies of promised events yet to come that paint a picture of what Paul the apostle called the blessed one hope of the future. We discuss how to know these unfulfilled prophecies have not yet come to pass and how they must be ordered logically for their fulfillment. Just as things were very different in the past, so too, they shall be different in the future ages to come. These promised events include the end of death, the new heaven and new earth, and Christ’s kingdom on earth as described in the Old Testament prophesies (the kingdom the disciples thought Jesus was going to establish the first time He came), which is the millennial reign of Christ.

There is a fascinating world still yet to come, but first a transition must occur which Jesus called the Tribulation. We finish the course looking at biblical prophecies that are being fulfilled today.

“The Master's Plan class was very beneficial for my spiritual growth and established a deep love of the Bible in me. Seeing the tangible ways that God fulfilled His promises taught me how to think deeply about what I was reading and trust the faithfulness of God. The class gave me a Biblical grounding for my future in college and displayed how to critically think amidst all of the secular teaching in the world. The depth of The Master's Plan class is unparalleled. It is a big part of why I chose to pursue Biblical and theological studies in college.”

Because of The Master's Plan Class, even when I have wanted to give up on my faith, I have not been able to. You have simply shown me too much to believe otherwise.

Future of Education

Education has two paths moving forward. The first is the current trajectory that leads children to believe lies and gives them no equipment to think morally or defend their faith. The second is to move toward truth about themselves and the plan God has for them only found in the Bible and in Jesus Christ.  This course equips students to defend their faith and walk confidently with Jesus Christ.
